SRDC Holds Series of Focus Groups on Women and Youth Empowerment
The Social Research and Development Center (SRDC) is currently holding a series of focus groups on women’s political participation, women and young people empowerment and economic development. The project is commissioned by the Save the Children International and funded by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID).
These focus groups involve 30 young people of both sexes aged 18 – 30 years from Al-Hodeidah and Amran provinces as well as Sana’a city.
Being part of a broader project, these focus groups is one component of several activities conducted in the MENA region seeking to empower young people and women in terms of political participation and economic development.
